Shelf life and reading the label

Follow the heating and storage instructions on the package and check the best-before date. Shelf-stable storage applies to the unopened product under the stated conditions. If the package is swollen, leaking, damaged or unsealed, do not consume it and contact us. Product photographs show serving suggestions.

Shelf life: 12–24 months, depending on the recipe. Shelf life is measured from production and is not a promise of that many months remaining when delivered.

Allergens and dietary preferences

Read the ingredients and allergen statement for the exact recipe and package. A vegetarian meal is not necessarily vegan, dairy-free, egg-free or gluten-free. The assortment includes products with different dietary characteristics, so not every icon applies to every recipe. If information is missing or unclear, ask us before ordering or eating the product.

Storage and sustainability

Unopened shelf-stable meals do not require refrigerated or frozen storage under the conditions stated on their labels. This can reduce dependence on refrigerated storage and distribution compared with products that need a cold chain. Actual environmental impact also depends on production, packaging, transport and waste.
